The Vertigo Nitro DL 250 2026 has been developed directly from Vertigo’s competition success and the experience of multiple-time world champion Dougie Lampkin. Designed in collaboration with Vertigo’s technical team and R&D department, the DL model represents a refined competition-focused version of the Vertigo trials platform.
Powered by Vertigo’s advanced 250cc fuel-injected two-stroke engine, the DL model delivers the ideal balance of power, traction and responsiveness, making it the most versatile engine option in the range. The ST powered electronic fuel injection system ensures consistent throttle response and reliable performance in changing riding conditions.
For 2026, the Nitro DL benefits from Vertigo’s latest drivetrain improvements, including a refined 6-speed gearbox with improved internal lubrication and a redesigned gear selector system, delivering smoother gear changes and enhanced reliability.
The DL models feature a slow-action throttle body with Dougie Lampkin specific engine maps, improving traction and providing smoother, more controlled power delivery in technical sections.
Suspension performance is handled by Tech Kashima coated factory forks combined with a two-way adjustable Reiger rear shock absorber, working with Vertigo’s latest linkage system to maximise traction and stability.
Finished with aggressive DL snakeskin graphics, black anodised Morad rims and premium machined aluminium components, the Vertigo Nitro DL 250 offers a lightweight, competition-ready trials machine inspired by one of the most successful riders in the history of the sport.
