The new Zontes ZT125-X brings big-scooter technology and engineering to the 125cc class, combining a lightweight aluminium frame, class-leading power-to-weight ratio and an impressive level of standard equipment.
Its 125cc engine produces 11kW (15 hp) and 13 Nm of torque, while a dry weight of just 108kg makes the ZT125-X particularly light and manageable – ideal for commuting, first-time riders and everyday urban use.
Practicality is equally impressive. There’s an 11-litre fuel tank, under-seat storage for two helmets, a separate glovebox and ample pillion space, alongside a claimed 134.5 mpg.
Premium Tech as Standard
A 5-inch TFT display gives the ZT125-X a properly modern cockpit, complete with smartphone mirroring and access to the Zontes Smart App.
Traction control, twin-channel ABS, TPMS and full LED lighting are all standard, alongside Keyless PKE 3.0, USB charging and stop-start technology.
It’s a level of equipment you’d normally expect to find much further up the scooter market.
